Cookie policy
Effective from: 1 September 2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies I use on the website https://krbusek.legal/, what they are for and how you can control them.
The website is operated by, and the controller of personal data is, Mgr. Klára Krbušek, an attorney registered in the list of attorneys kept by the Czech Bar Association under reg. no. 19610, with her registered office at Chelčického 584/13, Žižkov, 130 00 Praha 3, Czech Republic, ID No. (IČO) 09936343.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website and read from it on your next visit. The same rules apply to similar technologies that store data on your device or access it – for example tracking pixels, the browser’s local storage or third-party scripts. For simplicity, I refer to all of them as “cookies” below.
Cookies can be first-party (stored by this website) or third-party (stored by another provider whose tool is used on the website). By how long they are kept, they are either session cookies, which are deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for the lifetime of the cookie concerned or until you delete them manually.
2. Which cookies I use
2.1 Necessary (technical) cookies – your consent is not required for their use
I use the browser’s local storage (localStorage), which keeps your choice from the cookie banner and the date you made it. This lets the website respect your settings, and the banner does not appear on every visit.
Your consent is not required for storing and reading this data, because it is necessary to remember and apply the settings you chose. Where personal data is processed in doing so, the legal basis is my legitimate interest in keeping and respecting your choice (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This website uses the following technical cookies:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Storage period |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent | The krbusek.legal website | keeping your choice in the cookie banner and the date of that choice, so that the banner does not appear again | The choice is valid for 12 months. After that, the record is removed on your next visit to the website; you can remove it sooner by clearing the website’s data in your browser. |
2.2 Analytics cookies – used only if you consent to them
They are used for traffic statistics – how many people visit the website, where they come from and which pages they view. They help me improve the website. Where personal data is processed in doing so, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
This website uses the following analytics cookies:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Storage period |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Ireland Limited | distinguishing visitors | 24 months |
| _ga_M1EQSTK295 | Google Ireland Limited | keeping the state of the visit (session) | 24 months |
The periods in the table refer to how long the cookies are stored in your browser. Google Analytics keeps data about users and their activity for 2 months. After that period, the data concerned is deleted automatically in regular monthly cycles.
3. Consent and withdrawing it
On your first visit to the website, a banner appears in which you can accept or reject all cookies that require consent equally easily. Until you give consent, these cookies are not stored. No option is pre-ticked, and access to the website’s content does not depend on giving consent.
Your choice, whether you accept or reject cookies, is valid for 12 months. On your next visit after that period, the banner appears again. You can change your settings at any time.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time and free of charge using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawal takes effect for the future; it does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. You can also delete cookies already stored in your browser settings.
4. Transfers of data outside the EU
The provider of the analytics tools used (Google Ireland Limited) may transfer data to its parent company and other entities outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the USA. Transfers are based on a European Commission adequacy decision (the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or, where applicable, on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. These tools are activated only if you consent to the cookie category concerned.
5. Browser settings
You can also restrict or block cookies directly in your browser settings and delete cookies already stored. You will find how to do this in your browser’s help.
If you block all cookies, some parts of the website may not work properly.
6. Your rights
In relation to personal data processed through cookies, you have the rights described in the privacy policy – in particular the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, withdrawal of consent and the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.gov.cz).
